Special Guest Presenter: Stephen D. Tick

There are an amazing number of laws from the Torah that were adopted into U.S. law, and which shaped who and what we are today as a society. Some of the laws to be covered include those prohibiting violence against individuals, laws relating to equal justice, property laws, health and labor laws, and even laws protecting the environment.

We will come to see those commandments in an entirely new light, with the realization that the Torah is not some ancient document that lacks relevance, but the very foundation of our society.

Stephen D. Tick is a retired senior member of Sherman & Howard, LLC (now Taft), the oldest and one of the most prestigious law firms in Denver. Stephen has been studying Torah for more than thirty years, and has been researching and teaching this subject for decades at synagogues, churches, and military bases.
