Meet us at Har Shalom for a crown challah baking class! Rory Martin, challah baker extraordinaire, will lead us through the steps of baking our very own crown (round) challot to bring home and share with our friends and loved ones. Crown challot are traditionally enjoyed at Rosh Hashanah; the round shape symbolizing continuity, the cycle of the seasons, and a new year. 

Attendees will learn how to create a 4-braid crown challah with a choice of plain, raisin, cinnamon, or chocolate chip. Gluten-free dough will also be provided for those who need or prefer it. This program is open to adults and children in 4th grade and above. Only those who register ahead of time may participate. Cost is $18/member or $25/non-member guest.
