Modern Jewish Mysticism is based on the revolutionary and radical theories of Isaac Luria, the famous Kabbalist who lived in 16th century Safed, Israel. We will explore the historical circumstances that led to this branch of Jewish Mysticism, examine his ideas in depth, and discuss the impact these ideas continue to have on Jewish thought and practice today.
