Simchat Torah is our annual celebration of the gift of the Torah to the Jewish People. There is fun for all ages: we'll be dancing with the Torahs (there are small ones for the kids); and we will be completing our reading of the Torah, and then immediately beginning it again! Older members will be called to the aliyah for the reading of the end of Deuteronomy; and children below Bar/Bat Mitzvah age will be called to the Aliyah (along with their parents) for the beginning of Genesis. Everyone will have the opportunity to see open Torah scrolls!
