A Story of Courage: A Survivor's Story

Join us for the filmed testimony of Isak Federman, may his memory be for a blessing, beloved father of Lorie Federman, as he shares his story of survival during the Holocaust. He was just 17 years old when he went to the town square to run an errand for his mother and was rounded up by the Nazis and put on a truck. After a period of forced labor, he was then sent to a total of 17 different concentration camps. Isak was liberated by the British army in 1945 and was the only one in his family to survive. His moving testimony is a tribute to the courage and resilience of so many. After the film, we will encourage others to share their parents' and grandparents' stories.
